Billy has been diving since 1996 and instructing since 2003. Billy is an avid traveler and has dove many different places worldwide. Billy enjoys all types of diving including recently entering the world of rebreather diving on his Hollis Prism which helps with his underwater videography.

Billy is also an enthusiastic conservationist regularly encouraging others to become more aware of the status of our ocean commons.  His most recent adventures took him to Florida last year as an integral part of Fabien Cousteau’s Mission 31 team.

Nicolle become a diver through the excellent University of Oregon dive program in 1992 and has considered her time spent out of the water as nothing more than extended surface intervals! Nicolle, instructing since 2002, has certified many divers in various levels of training ranging from PADI Seal Team to Instructor level courses.

Nicolle actively continues her own dive education as well as being an recreational and technical diver. She is also very involved in scuba industry related projects speaking at dive clubs, dive shops, schools, and organizing community and environmental dive events.

Larry started diving in Monterey, California in 1988. Enjoying diving so much he wanted to introduce others to diving so he started teaching in 1993. While in the Monterey area, Larry was also an active member of the San Luis Obispo County Sheriffs search and recovery team from 1996 to 1998. He is currently a member of the Clark County Southwest Washington Organization of Rescue Divers (SWORD) dive team. He is also a certified underwater investigator and prior law enforcement both civilian and military police.

When Larry isn’t teaching or fun diving locally, he loves dive travel! Larry has traveled to and dived many exotic locations and plans to dive many more. Currently his favorite warm water dive is Devils Grotto, Grand Cayman, but that is always up for a change any given dive trip to a new location!

Larry’s instruction ranges from youth programs to the Assistant Instructor level including the dive specialties listed below:

Certified in 2010, Callie immediately took continuing education diving courses after her open water dives. In 2012 she became certified as a Dive Control Specialist through SSI and shortly thereafter made the switch to PADI Assistant Instructor. Callie continued working at Seven Seas Scuba as an AI until the following year when she became an Open Water Instructor in 2013.

Callie mostly dives in the Pacific Northwest. During the winter months she loves crab diving Netarts Bay along with the blooming nudibranch population. Every year since 2011 she spends two weeks diving the warm waters of Isla Mujeres, Mexico, home of the Cancun Underwater Museum (MUSA) where life sized statues have been installed underwater to promote reef growth and provide marine life habitat.

Troy, one of our founding staff members who has been diving around the world since 2000, is an incredibly talented, skilled, well disciplined, and extremely enthusiastic dive professional. He brings a strong work ethic and unique diligence from his military career with the Marines where he learned to dive while stationed in Cyprus. While in Cyprus he assisted in the certification of hundreds of NATO Military Forces and U.N. Civilian Police from Open Water to Assistant Instructor level. 

Troy is also a premiere Emergency First Response Instructor as he pulls from his tactical medical training to keep his courses interesting using real life experiences/scenarios. 

Troy’s diving experience serves him well as he is also an active member of the Clackamas County Water Rescue Team, the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office full-response Dive/Rescue Team.

Richard began diving in 2004 with the intention of vacationing with friends and immediately became fascinated with the sport. Richard worked as an SSI Dive Control Specialist for several years, learning practical skills for diver certification & education, before becoming a PADI Instructor in 2010. Along with his partner, Richard has extensive cold water diving experience, both locally and in places such as Iceland, Denmark, Sweden & Canada. Travel has also taken him to warm water locations in the Caribbean and Thailand.

Richard is also our lead instructor in the greater Seattle area offering wonderful dive training and fun diving!

Georgia, one of the shop’s most active divers, brings incredible dive experience to her instruction. Well diversified in a great number of dive specialties, she never stops seeking new adventures and new learning avenues such as cavern diving and teaching Solo Diving. Georgia is also an avid underwater photographer and one of the Pacific Northwest’s top leveled Fish ID experts. She is also one of the world’s most active REEF surveyors having submitted over 1,000 REEF surveys!

Tommy originally learned to dive in 2001 and was certified as a Junior Open Water Diver. Upon turning 18 he wasted no time in getting actively involved in the dive community, working in dive shops and continuing his training, becoming an SSI Dive Control Specialist in 2007 followed quickly by his Open Water Instructor rating later that same year. Crossing over to PADI in 2009 he has continued to be active in the industry while also attaining a degree in Environmental Science from Portland State University. He is a diver and researcher for the Oregon Coast Project, seeking to verify and validate WWII stories through evidence on the ocean floor.

His travels have taken him along the west coast from Southern California to Canada, as well as Costa Rica. When asked about his favorite place to dive, he’ll likely tell you about the strawberry anemones off the coast of Newport, OR; the kelp forests and shell pathways of Neah Bay, WA or the swimming scallops in the San Juan Islands. Northwest born and raised… he loves diving here.
